Code of conduct

Discipline at St. Mary's is rooted not in fear, but in respect — for oneself, for others and for the community. Our code of conduct helps create an orderly, safe and happy environment in which every child can learn and grow.

General Expectations

• Students must be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
• The prescribed school uniform must be worn neatly on all working days.
• Respect must be shown to all staff, fellow students and visitors.
• School property must be treated with care; damage may attract penalties.
• Honesty, courtesy and good manners are expected at all times.
• Use of objectionable items or behaviour is strictly prohibited.

Discipline With Care

The school reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action in cases of misconduct. However, our approach always seeks to correct with understanding, helping students learn from their mistakes and grow into responsible individuals.

Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
